G6 Hospitality expands franchise development team

G6 Hospitality, the parent company of Motel 6 and Studio 6, adds eight new team members to its franchise development team. These new members of the franchise development have been hired to manage Oregon, Washington, California, Nevada, Utah, Wyoming, Alaska, Arizona, New Mexico, Montana, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Missouri, Nebraska, Texas, Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey and Connecticut. The company plans to hire more team members across other states in the coming months.

New members of the G6 Hospitality franchise development team include Gregory Jones, Jay Vekaria, Swaraj Gaikwad and Sachin Sachdeva.

Sachdeva is responsible for driving franchise growth across the Midwest region, spanning Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota and Wisconsin. Sachdeva earlier lead business development for OYO across the United States and Canada. He has previously spearheaded OYO’s growth as country revenue head in Indonesia & Malaysia.

Vekaria is responsible for growing G6 Brands in Northeast Region. This includes Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont and Maine. Before joining G6 Hospitality, Vekaria has worked across hospitality, fintech, and private equity.

Jones leads the Western region, spanning California and Nevada. He brings over two decades of experience in hospitality leadership, having managed operations, revenue growth and franchise development across multiple hotel groups in the U.S.

Gaikwad leads New Mexico and South Texas. Before G6 Hospitality, Swaraj led business operations and growth at OYO U.S.

G6 Hospitality plans to add over 150 new hotels to its portfolio in 2025.
