OYO expects to add some 300 hotels to its U.S. portfolio during 2025. OYO U.S. has added 150 over the first half of the year and anticipates adding another 150 as the result of a pipeline of signed properties. The new hotels—which include a focus on high-inventory properties of over 100 rooms—have been added in Texas, Virginia, Georgia, Mississippi, California, Michigan and Illinois.
“2025 is shaping up to be a busy year for all if us at OYO,” Nikhit Heda, head of development, OYO U.S., said in a statement. “We are helping our hotel owners unlock revenue growth and operational efficiency through our technology. Our expanded portfolio gives travelers more choice and value, while our direct channel momentum shows that OYO is becoming a trusted hospitality brand for both new and returning guests.”
Some of the most significant recent additions include a handful of properties that were previously operating as independent hotels. Those properties include the 400-room Palette Sunset Waves Resort Myrtle Beach Oceanfront in Myrtle Beach, S.C; the 130-room Capital O Kings Inn in Memphis Tenn.; the 130-room hotel Travelers Inn by OYO in Douglas, Ga., and the 140-room Jackson Hotel and Convention Center in Jackson, Tenn.
Going forward, OYO will continue to accelerate its U.S. portfolio growth through organic expansions, partnership-driven signings and strategic conversions, according to the company. Additionally, OYO is exploring new urban and suburban markets across the Sun Belt and Great Lakes regions.
