NewcrestImage repositions Atlantic City boardwalk hotel

Following an acquisition on the Atlantic City boardwalk two years ago, NewcrestImage has repositioned the property as a new luxury boutique hotel in New Jersey.

The newly opened 105-room Seahaus Hotel is part of Marriott’s Tribute Portfolio and will be managed by Courry Hospitality. The property covers a full city block and includes 6,600 sq. ft. of first-floor retail space on the Boardwalk.

“This property dramatically demonstrates our company’s ability to see a hotel not just as it exists, but to envision what it can be with new ownership,” Mehul Patel, managing partner of NewcrestImage, said in a statement. "We acquired the property in July of 2023 and completely redeveloped it as a high-end destination hotel. Together, the purchase and renovation are the largest Boardwalk investment in the past 20 years and now The Seahaus Hotel represents a significant new profit opportunity for us.”

Furnishings are designed to evoke the sea and sand with soft, nautical-inspired style and comfort, while amenities include direct beach access, an on-site fitness center, live weekend entertainment and customized golf, boating and wellness options.

Culinary offerings include the CDM Bakery + Café and a signature restaurant, Cucina Del Mar.

Notable nearby attractions are the Atlantic City Convention Center, Atlantic City Aquarium, Steel Pier Amusement Park, Tanger Outlets, championship golf courses, fishing charters and Atlantic City nightlife.
