Vision Hospitality Group opens Embassy Suites in Chattanooga

Chattanooga’s revitalized riverfront district received a new addition with the debut of an Embassy Suites, which has been opened by Vision Hospitality Group.

The seven-story, 184-room Embassy Suites by Hilton Chattanooga Downtown is a $60 million hotel development targeting both business and leisure travelers. For Vision Hospitality—which owns and operates a portfolio of 44 hotels nationwide—the newly opened asset is the 15th hotel in Chattanooga, Tenn., where the company is headquartered. The project stands among the largest private investments in downtown Chattanooga in more than a decade and is expected to fuel local tourism, commerce and job creation, according to the company.

“This hotel represents our long-standing commitment to our hometown of Chattanooga and our belief in its continued growth,” Mitch Patel, founder and CEO, Vision Hospitality Group, said in a statement. “We’re proud to open our doors and create a special space that connects people to the heart of Chattanooga’s riverfront district.”

The hotel will have a rooftop restaurant and bar overlooking the nearby Tennessee River and Tennessee Aquarium, as well as a street-level restaurant fronting Broad Street. Vision has partnered with local hospitality group SquareOne Holdings to manage the food and beverage operations in the hotel. In addition, SquareOne will develop and operate the rooftop restaurant and bar.

The new Embassy Suites also includes a contemporary lobby bar, an enhanced indoor pool and 3,000 square feet of flexible meeting space for corporate gatherings, weddings and social events.
