The Westin Resort & Spa Puerto Vallarta will transform to an all-inclusive beach resort by May 2026. The resort will be rebranded as The Westin Playa Vallarta, an All-Inclusive Resort and will debut as the first Westin all-inclusive in Mexico.
Located minutes from Puerto Vallarta International Airport, The Westin Playa Vallarta will have a realm of immersive experiences set against the breathtaking backdrop of one of Mexico’s most picturesque coastal regions. The resort’s transformation is part of a multi-million-dollar renovation that has been underway for the past year aimed at reimagining every aspect of the property.
“We are thrilled to witness the next chapter in the evolution of our iconic resort in Playa Vallarta, an unparalleled all-inclusive destination awaiting customers beginning May 2026,” General Manager Hugo Lecanda said in a statement. “Whether seeking a romantic escape, a corporate retreat or to unwind and reconnect with friends and family, our reimagined resort will continue to deliver the same award-winning service our guests know and love – enhanced by our exciting new all-inclusive offerings.”
Upgraded recreational amenities include refreshed pools, new pickleball and padel courts, and the signature WestinWORKOUT Fitness Studio.
The resort has 281 reimagined suites, including 30 private plunge pool suites and 16 swim-up rooms, alongside 10 culinary and entertainment venues.
