Rebel Hotel Company expands into the D.C. market

Full-service hotel operator Rebel Hotel Company is continuing its push into major metropolitan markets assuming management of the Hilton Washington D.C. Capitol Hill.

The transition of the property expands Rebel’s Hilton portfolio and marks the company’s entrance into one of the nation’s key markets. The 267-room hotel targets business, government and leisure travelers with close proximity to Union Station, expansive meeting space and elevated service in one of the city’s most well-known neighborhoods.

“Moving to Washington, D.C. is a major moment for Rebel,” Brian Sparacino, president and CEO of Rebel Hotel Company, said in a statement. “We’ve built our business on creative thinking and close collaboration, and we’re excited to bring that same mindset to one of the most competitive hospitality markets in the country. We’re especially grateful to the Hilton team for their ongoing partnership and support as we continue to grow together.”

Rebel’s full-service management model emphasizes experiential design, local connection and operational flexibility designed to create high-impact results across a variety of brand partnerships and property types, according to the company. Rebel Hotels now has a portfolio that includes four Hilton-branded hotels and several independent properties across the U.S.
