Hyatt integrates Way’s experiential platform to unify hotel offerings

Hyatt Hotels Corp. has partnered with Way to consolidate ancillary services, loyalty experiences and on-property programming onto a single platform across its portfolio of hotels and resorts globally.

The collaboration integrates Austin, Texas-based Way’s platform into Hyatt’s digital ecosystem—including Hyatt.com, the World of Hyatt mobile app, property websites and the World of Hyatt FIND Experiences platform—as part of an effort to create a centralized system for guests to book experiences.

“This initiative powers the next chapter of our digital strategy by streamlining operations and enhancing personalization, while supporting our focus on care at every touchpoint,” Arlie Sisson, SVP and global head of digital at Hyatt, said in a statement.

Through the partnership, World of Hyatt members can earn and redeem points on experiences booked directly through Hyatt hotel websites ranging from wellness programs and cultural activities to one-time ticketed events and local collaborations. Members can also access FIND Experiences, which features curated activities and auctions that allow bidding with points for exclusive events.

“Hyatt set a high bar and we’re proud to bring their vision to life,” said Michael Stocker, co-founder and CEO of Way. “The platform supports enterprise needs while preserving the guest experience.”

The Way initiative applies across Hyatt’s brand portfolio, encompassing offerings such as cabana rentals and in-room amenities, as well as partnerships with local providers. Way’s technology also supports real-time translation, over 100 currencies, multiple payment methods and advanced data insights to help Hyatt manage operations globally, according to the company.
