The three-story, 57-room Comfort Suites in Galveston, Texas, has been sold in a deal brokered by Marcus & Millichap. Other terms and conditions were not disclosed.
The hotel—which was built in 2007—was being marketed for roughly $4.5 million or more than $78,000 per key. The property is located some 50 miles southeast of Houston in the port city of Galveston, which draws millions of tourists each year. The Choice-branded hotel’s amenities include a lounge/bar, outdoor pool, whirlpool, meeting space, fitness center and business center.
Skyler Cooper, investment specialist in Marcus & Millichap’s Dallas office, exclusively marketed the property on behalf of the seller, which was not disclosed at press time. Cooper received additional support from Chris Gomes and Allan Miller of the Miller-Gomes Hotel Team. Michael Knall and Josh Tammen from the firm’s Phoenix office procured the buyer, which was also not disclosed.
