Hospitality Lodging Systems has entered into a long-term licensing agreement with S&S Hospitality to become the exclusive franchise and management company for the Live In Lodge extended-stay brand.
As part of the deal, HLS assumes management of seven Live In Lodge properties in Georgia, totaling 992 rooms. The brand—founded in 2017 by Shahid Khan—aims to expand its footprint with the support of HLS’s infrastructure and franchise programs.
“This partnership with HLS presents us with the proven personnel, infrastructure and programs that can immediately expand our geographic reach,” Khan said in a statement.
HLS currently manages 69 hotels under three limited-service brands: Budgetel (35 properties), AmeriVu (25), and Haven Hotels (9).
“The Live In Lodge brand allows us to offer owners an attractive way to capitalize on the strong marketplace demand for extended stay lodging,” said Doug Collins, chairman and CEO of HLS. “Now owners can give extended stay guests a superior style that they don’t typically expect in this segment.”
