The Holiday Inn Express & Suites Farmington is in the Bloomfield section of Farmington, N.M.
The 100-room hotel was sold to a private hospitality group with a growing portfolio in the Southwest. The group plans to continue operating the property under the Holiday Inn Express & Suites flag and investing in long-term brand upgrades and improvements.
The sellers were represented by Bruce Holmes and Peter Holmes of HB1’s Oklahoma City office and Bert Stevens of HB1’s Dallas office. “This transaction underscores the strength of well-positioned branded assets in secondary markets like Farmington,” Bert Stevens of HB1’s Dallas office said in a statement. “Buyers remain highly focused on acquiring properties with solid brand recognition, stable cash flow, and upside potential through operational or physical enhancements.”
According to the broker, the sale reflects broader trends in the hospitality sector, where investors are targeting high-performing assets in growth-oriented regional markets.
Cobblestone Inn & Suites in Corry, Pa.
The Cobblestone Inn & Suites in Corry, Pa., is a 37-room, upper-midscale property in northwestern Pennsylvania.
The hotel serves the greater Erie region and nearby outdoor recreation areas. The buyer, a regional hospitality group, plans to continue operating the property under the Cobblestone brand.
The sellers were represented in the transaction by Ted Holmes and Bruce Holmes.
